Batch 12 marks a new evolution in the journey of Arts Practices for Inclusion™ (API). Unlike previous batches, which worked with organisational leaders and senior practitioners from disability organisations, Batch 12 opens differently — inviting individual participants who apply on their own, drawn from varied fields, backgrounds, and lived experiences.

This cohort brings together practitioners working directly with disability, alongside those working on transgender rights and human rights, social work, education, gender, and community work with girls in rural India. Each participant carries a different entry point into questions of participation, identity, and belonging and each arrives not as a representative of an institution, but as an individual: an artist, educator, student, professional, caregiver, or community member.
